Keeping the fires burning (over 1/3 of the way to our goal of $80,000), Charlie, Jojo, Deborah and I made the case for supporting African Rhythms and KFAI. Along the way we heard a brand new track by Orchestre Poly-Rythmo from their first album in 20 years plus plenty of classic African popular music including cuts from King Sunny Ade, Vieux Farka Toure and Orchestre Baobab.
