These lovely record label images come from an ongoing series of auctions of rare 78s (and 45s) curated by Joel Slotnikoff, the latest of which closes May 15. Joel has long specialized in offering great early to mid-century US blues, jazz, country and R&B records but more and more titles from all over the globe are showing up on his massive quarterly lists. The current auction features records from South Africa, the Ukraine, Turkey, Senegal, Australia, the Philippines, Italy, Mexico, Serbia, Quebec, and Cuba alongside the usual intimidating amount of important American music, all offered on precious shellac discs. Many more images can be found here.
