Global Beat, KFAI 08/18/10

There’s actually been a fair amount of great new music this year and we featured some sterling evidence on today’s edition of Global Beat, debuting new cuts from Luísa Maita (above), Hidden Orchestra (swirling symphonic soul from Edinburgh) and lots of other deep tracks both vintage and contemporary. The show is available as an MP3 stream for 2 weeks at the KFAI site, the playlist is posted both there and here.
