African Rhythms, KFAI 06/23/11

On today’s edition of African Rhythms we heard new tracks from Susana Baca and Mayra Andrade with Trio Mocotó (from the spectacular new Tropicalia tribute Red Hot + Rio 2) and had a preview of the K. Frimpong & his Cubano Fiestas record release party happening next Tuesday at Cause Spirits and Soundbar. The show is available as an MP3 stream for two weeks at the KFAI site, where you can also view the playlist.
