African Rhythms, KFAI 04/05/12: Pledge Drive

Thanks to everyone who pledged support for KFAI during today’s African Rhythms, pushing us closer to our goal! Brad and Charlie, along with Doug Cain from Global Beat and Lawyer Bill, made the case for supporting independent radio and played a lot of classic material (Tony Allen, Lee Scratch Perry, Samba Mapangala, Oumou Sangare, et al) along the way. The 2 hour show is available as always as an MP3 stream at the KFAI site.
