Ah, the joys of live radio. Tonight I had the privilege of guest hosting the Groove Garden show on KFAI and brought listeners a smattering of dead air along with the entertaining sound of a record being cued up while another is playing. Oh, and I forgot to back announce a few songs. Even so, we did hear some nice new music from Buika, Allá, Hercules & Love Affair and Seun Kuti, plus classics from Shuggie Otis (seen above), James Brown, Chaz Jankel, Love Unlimited, Curtis Mayfield, Ini Kamoze, and many others.
